Seagulls

Dancing 
     with the new 
          partner 
In front of 
     the old partner 

every thing's peaceful 
     right?
Nobody's going 
     to fight!

After all 
     we're seniors 
          here-
from a supposedly 
     Civilized Society 



Seagulls circling
     on an updraft 
Dancing in 
     the wind... 

So like- 
     we circle 
          our lives 
And each other 

hopefully not 
     like Vultures 
Searching for 
     Carrion 

like the young man 
     who comes to 
          the dance 
Searching for old 
     ladies 
          with money 
Vulture-like 
     with sneaky 
           smile 

No- 
     let us stay 
White Gulls 
     slowly circling 
in an azure blue 
     sky 

With fluffy 
     White clouds 
          floating 
               by
