Brilliance

Going through 

Old papers 

Containing -

Brilliant thoughts and 

     Ideas 

And plans 

- filled up a whole sack 

Of that -

For trash

- can't have too much 

Brilliance

- don't have 

Room

Every day in 

Every way 

Throw something 

Out !

Go through old stuff 

And sift

And sort 

Different things are 

Important now 

The time is running 

Out 

Many things 

would have happened

      by now 

- if they were 

     Going to 

This used to make me sad 

Thinking why not "I"

Why shouldn't I have 

What I think I 

     Should have 

And even better -

     Some wonderful things 

Which haven't even occurred 

To me 

Yet

But now I know 

A brilliant thing -

     - having enough

To eat 

And 

A place to sleep 

Is the best idea 

Yet
